where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain

Oklahoma. Setting of both a mediocre musical and one of my favorite Tom Cruise/Nicole Kidman movies (also the only Cruise/Kidman movie I've seen). A state where the 5th image result on Google is a lovely shot of presumably authentic Sooner cleavage. It also has an average of 54 tornadoes a year - one of the highest rates in the world. The state vegetable is a watermelon.

It is also the place where Zach and I will be moving to in May and living for the next few years.

I'll say more when I have a better understanding of how I feel about this. Or at least a way to better articulate how I feel.

At the very least, it feels amazing to have an actual destination and plan for after graduation.

  2. Exciting! I know nothing about Oklahoma that doesn't involve dust and the Trail of Tears. Oh, and the musical. But I'm sure it's going to be great. Yay for plans!!

  4. I am a little jealous of your plan-having.
    But congrats!

(Hopefully in the next few weeks things will be coming together for me.)
